M. GUSTAVE: Keep your hands off my lobby boy!
-The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014),
Wes Anderson.
Who cares about whatever the whole movie really was about; but you wouldn't spend a single moment not sitting at the edge of your seat and can not afford to take your eyes ever off the screen. For there is such a gripping sense of urgency through out the movie, and such a keen attention to details, and such master synchronization of multiple events, that you will willingly forgive all the silly and unusual ways of talking or walking or acting. There are no intended sermons in the movie, but you may find some if you look out for those things. I wish I could have paid more attention to the recitation of verses. All actors were excellent, but I would say the real star of the movie is the director. The work is just immaculate! And it would be very rare that you would ever watch anything funnier.
